Special Olympic Bolwing Champion Challenges Obama

In a fitting turn of events, the reigning Special Olympics bowling champion, 35 year old Kolan McConiughey, challenged Obama to a bowling match. The challenge came in response to the President's disparaging remarks about the Special Olympics made on the Leno show. Seemingly unfazed by the President's celebrity, McConiughey told the Associated Press, "[h]e bowled a 129. I bowl a 300. I could beat that score easily."

  1. Heh - heh. Good post. I'm giving Obama some leave on the whole "Special Olympics" gaffe. I didn't pick on the Bushes or Clinton or Reagan for this sort-of thing, so it'd be wrong of me to start it now. That doesn't mean that Kolan McConiughey can't call him out, though.

By the way, what's with Obama's Keds bowling shoes (or are they Skechers?) in that pic?

  2. Yeah fair enough. I wouldn't care about his comment at all, if he didn't make it on Leno while trying to suck up to Hollywood, amidst numerous other actions that debase the office he holds. Such as: disrespecting the British Prime Minister, showing up late for everything, having Gibbs, Emmanuel, and crew engage in rank political attacks etc ...

  3. I'd love to see Obama invite Kolan McConiughey to the White house bowling lanes and let Kolan beat the socks off him, fair and square!

  4. ha ha I don't think it would be much of a match. And from all appearances Obama is too thin skinned to handle it. However, I would love to see him give Kolan the opportunity, it would be a great way to make it up to him.
